People get tattoos from numerous reasons. The reason that I've always appreciated the most is the commemoration of a loved one who has passed on. It's a sentimental gesture that is bound to live forever in the heart of the person who makes it. You never forget your loved ones, so a tattoo to acknowledge their lives seems appropriate. But that's about it.
Honestly, I can't imagine why anyone would place designs on their bodies that may or may not go out of style within the next decade. A tattoo is meant to be forever, right? And, it goes without saying that getting permanent ink placed in your skin is quite the fashion statement. But what happens when that fashion goes out of style? I can think of quite a few fashion trends that have not stood the test of time.
Bell bottom jeans come to mind. Sure, they may make appearances now and again. But let's face it. Bell bottoms are associated with 1970's fashion. When was the last time you donned a pair? Exactly. Now imagine you got a tattoo in the 1970's that was relevant at the time you got it. Do you think you'd still want to be wearing that tattoo today?
Some actors and actresses falls into the category shared by those who have tattoo regret. A couple of years ago, Frisky.com reported that an actor decided to remove her Marilyn Monroe tattoo from her right forearm. The reason listed for the decision had everything to do with growing up and becoming more mature. This is something we all do, of course.
The website quoted one of the friends as saying "Marilyn is almost gone and she has identified two other tattoos to go. She doesn't regret having her tattoos but having grown up a lot in the last few months, she no longer identifies with certain things that inspired her when she was a teenager."
If Laser Tattoo Removal is cool enough for celebrities, it's got to be cool enough for you, right? And you may be wondering exactly how they did it? Believe it or not, tattoo removal is actually quicker and less painful than actually getting the tattoo.
In many cases, a high-powered Q-switched Alexandrite laser is used for the removal of tattoos. This laser is especially effective on multicoloured pigment. The removal of the tattoo is also more easily accomplished using varying wavelengths of light. If you have an elaborate tattoo that is made up of many colours, this may be the solution you've been looking for.
The Cynosure Accolade is another solution in the world of tattoo removal. It is a high-powered, Q-switched Alexandrite laser that provides a very effective solution to benign epidermal and dermal pigmented lesions. It too, is useful in the removal of multicoloured tattoos.
